Friends of Friends mix series: Groundislava – Spring mix

Right then, we slowly but surely get back into our regular broadcast schedule with another killer FoF mix series installment – this time courtesy of FoF artist Groundislava, whose self titled debut is out now.

Groundislava should be familiar to any regular listeners as we’ve been airing tracks from his debut over the last couple of months, as well as heavy rotation on the Maisonette Electronique Ustream. The album is out now via FoF and available from all good retailers, physically and digitally. It features quite a few personal anthems of recent month such as Shlava featuring Jon Wayne and Shlohmo or the Clive Tanaka remix of Panorama. We recommend you get on it right about now.

For this mix the man’s put together a selection of his own works alongside a few additional tracks from fellow FoF artist Salva and the always classic Blanka OST from Street Fighter II – a nice nod to the 8-bit influences that permeate the album itself. This mix was originally aired on the Donky Pitch radio show a week or so ago.

So all that’s left to do now that you’ve gone and bought the album is to sit back and enjoy. As always download and/or stream below or simply subscribe to the RSS/iTunes/email and receive all new shows and downloads in your inbox in an easy digest.

Much love to GiL and Leeor as always. Stay tuned for a Rhythm Incursions podcast from myself in the next week before we roll back into standard broadcasting procedures next month.
