Wrapping up November in fine style, Laurent returns for a two-hour session after a hiatus over the last few months. Originally planned for October, the show takes in the latest and freshest music from around the globe that has been ticking all the right boxes at Rhythm Inc towers.

Closing the first month of 2011 is our regular Rhythm Incursions broadcast. As always we’ve got 2 hours of fresh new music for your ears, perfect remedy to beat the gloom and doom of January (unless you live south of the hemisphere in which case we’re not talking to you).

The last show of the month sees the return of our regular podcast, following the missed October show due to this little thing called life getting in the way. Both Primus Luta and myself missed October, though Raid System held the fort alongside DDay One. Primus came back earlier this month with a bumper 2 hour show and this show does much the same with a lot of forthcoming and exclusive bits and a look over some of my favourites in recent months.

This month we also have a mini feature on the excellent Scientist Launches Dubstep Into Outer Space release, forthcoming on Tectonic on the 6th of December. For the occasion we’re showcasing three tracks from the release, and don’t forget you can download the Guido dub in our download section still. The album is killer and I recommend you go cop it when it’s out, definitely the dubstep release of the year.

On top of this we’ve got new music from Sam IRL, The Bug, Kidkanevil, Jacques Greene, Lunice, Bomb Zombies, AD Bourke, Wrongtom, Dbridge & Instra:mental, BD 1982, 1000 Names and more as well as previews of forthcoming releases from Mophono, Salva, Floating Points Ensemble, Andreya Triana, Sepalcure, Exit Records, Illum Sphere and more.

Lastly as is now the norm for November we have our first label of the year mini feature, looking at the work of Planet Mu. Now Mu’s output this year has been extensive, and of outstanding quality in many ways, so rather than a thorough mini feature I’ve opted for a 3 track taster of some of my favourite releases of theirs including Vex’d, Rudi Zygadlo and DJ Roc. I’ve also realised that this month’s show marks the 2 year anniversary of my officially presenting the Rhythm Incursions show, taking over from Mr Trick. Unintentionally this month is also the first time the show comes at you in a semi live format, that is it was recorded in one take on Serato as opposed to the usual Ableton prerecorded sessions. As a result the audio is a little rougher than usual, especially because my set up is in transit and I’ll be hopefully getting a new, shinier set up in the coming month. Still I hope the small technical hiccups don’t distract from the music too much and do let us know your feedback in the comments.

Our good friends at Svetlana Industries hit us up yesterday with news about a label compilation/taster they are dropping today. They even gave us a track from it to give away. And then things got mental with work and I never got round to posting it. Still if my calculations are correct and they’re releasing the compilation at noon CET that means I’ve still got about an hour!

Regular listeners no doubt remember the Belgrade label from the various times it’s featured on the show this year, thanks to releases by Teebs & Jackhigh, Pieces of Shhh and 1000 Names. We’ve been fans since they first hit us up at the end of last year and even more so since hooking up with Toby last month at Brainfeeder and realising all the common grounds we all share.

This compilation, titled ‘Come On Let’s Go’, has been six months in the making and features a range of artists working with and releasing on the label, from the aforementioned 1000 Names to 8Bitch, Josip Klobucar to Teebs and more. All tracks on there are exclusive to the compilation and the whole thing has been mastered and put together for gapless playback.

As mentioned ‘Come On Let’s Go’ will be made available at noon CET today on bandcamp – you can preview the tracks with the player above. It should allow download once noon has come as well.

And in the meantime for those of you reading this in the next hour you can download the 1000 Names track, called ‘Rocket Loop ’94′, exclusively below! We roll into the summer with another RIPL show from our man on the East Coast, Primus Luta. With the heatwaves blasting on all continents (well unless you’re south of the hemisphere I guess) he comes correct with 85 minutes of audio delicacies including new and recent releases from the likes of Oriol, FaltyDL, 1000 Names, Machinedrum, Eccy, Mux Mool, Throwing Snow, Darkwan, Erik L, Teebs & Jackhigh, Kuedo and many more.

He also takes time this month to shine a little light on Free the Robots, with an extensive mini feature that works as the perfect primer for anyone not familiar with this Californian producer. A favourite of Rhythm Inc since his first self-released EP 3 years ago, his official debut on Alpha Pup earlier this year has been in heavy rotation since it dropped and Primus Luta shines a light on this releease mainly with a seven track selection that will definitely leave you a fan by the end of it. Free The Robots’ ‘Ctr Alt Del’ is out now on Alpha Pup.

We’ve been quieter than usual this month, but that hasn’t stopped music coming in by the bucket load into our inbox. 2009 already started on a high (see last month’s podcast for more on that) and it’s not showing any signs of stopping with labels and artists gearing up for the first quarter of the year with a lot of interesting projects and releases.

As with January, this month’s show comes with just 2 days left in the month but we reckon the wait’s been worth it. We’ve got lots of new stuff and a few bonus, exclusive treats too.
