<itunes:summary>Born in 2005 from the ashes of Turntable Radio and helmed by Mr Trick and Waxfactor, Rhythm Incursions started life as a radio show airing music that 'picked up where hip hop stopped'. Since then it has evolved to continue its mission and today - in a world where hip hop has evolved to embrace its mutations that were the exceptions rather than the norm only a few years ago - it provides discerning music for discerning ears with monthly shows and guest mixes from hand picked worldwide DJs, producers and labels. The Rhythm Incursions presenting team now includes Primus Luta and DDay One from the USA, Raid System from Tokyo and Laurent Fintoni from London as well as two exclusive guest mix series curated by Friends of Friends and Raid System. We love the music we play and we think you will too.</itunes:summary>

LuckyMe return to the Rhythm Inc airwaves with a mix from their friends over at Citinite records. The occasion, apart from showcasing some rather nice new and exclusive tracks, is that in November LuckyMe‘s Ballers Social Club and Citinite will be hosting some joint parties together in London and Glasgow.

The London party will take place on the 12th at The Lightbox in Vauxhall featuring live performances from Rustie, Dam Funk, Jimmy Edgar and Gosub – the kind of line-up that isn’t to be sniffed at I think we can agree. Check the Ballers Social Club myspace for flyers and full details of the London and Glasgow shows.

And in the meantime, get in the mood with this mix from Citinite which features a rather large amount of unreleased exclusive tracks from the label’s roster of artists. On an electro/funk/dance tip, adjectives which describe the label’s output as well, this mix is rather refreshing and ideal for the coming autumn days. It also includes the label’s latest release (I believe), Sweat.X’s ‘I’m That Alley’. A release that includes a tasty Mike Slott remix, making the connection between Citinite and LuckyMe even more obvious. The release is available now from all good stores, physical or digital.

Right then, all that’s left is to give you the link and tracklist and urge you to get to the parties as you’re unlikely to be dissapointed by the music on offer – we’ll unfortunately be in NYC so we have a ‘good excuse’.
