Quarta330 releases free net single
News reached us today through the internet grapevine that Quarta330, the chiptune/dubstep producer based in Tokyo and who has been releasing on Kode 9′s excellent Hyperdub label, has released a free net single on Japanese label Maltine Records.
Having played with Quarta a few times during my time in Tokyo and seen the man go from a myspace sensation to a recognised artist, it’s a pleasure to see him continue to make moves and spread his music not just because he is talented but because he’s also one of the nicest and genuine guys you could ever hope to meet.
The 12″ is available for download from the Maltine label site, right here. One side of pure 8bit mentalism, with a rugged riddim and another side of deeper dub styles, with a real groove to it.
